American Rodeo Tribute Edition
In honor of the brave cowboys who rope, wrangle and ride, we are proud to offer the American Rodeo Tribute Edition rifle. Since their grassroots start in the late 1800s American rodeos continue to this day testing the skill and mettle of cowboys and cowgirls across the country. They have born stars like Bill “The Bull Dogger” Pickett and Jim Shoulders who is known as “the Babe Ruth of professional rodeos.” The Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame shines the spotlight on both man and beast celebrating the competitions that pit the two together. It’s a rough and tumble way of life where skill and bravery make the winner.
The American Rodeo Tribute Edition rifle is built on the award-winning Golden Boy platform featuring a strikingly engraved nickel plated receiver cover with 24K gold plated highlights. The right side features an image of a cowboy roping a calf while his lasso continues from one panel to the other. In the background of the right-rear panel, a crowd of cowboys is gathered at the fence to cheer on their buddy.
On the left side, the words “Rodeo Tribute” are prominent, with some leafy-vine scroll engraved in the upper-left and lower-right corners. A brave cowboy is wrangling a steer, and he just about has the animal on the ground. Both figures are 24K gold plated, as is the panel’s border.
The rifle’s American Walnut stock has some bull-riding action on it, with a cowboy trying to get to that eight-second mark on a bucking bull. The forend wood has the words “Cowboy Up,” with leafy-vine scroll to either side, all surrounded by a connecting border.
It’s a .22 caliber work of art that celebrates the lifestyle and competition that has inspired so many onlookers for well over a century. Here’s to another.
