The Silver Eagle .22 S/L/LR, .22 Mag, .17 HMR
Engraved Yet Remarkably Affordable
The Henry Silver Eagle is based on the engraved scroll and silver plated Serial Number 9 Henry Rifle presented to US Secretary of the Navy Gideon Welles by The New Haven Arms Company. Welles served under President Lincoln, distinguished himself as a political leader nationally, and was one of the organizers of the Republican Party. Secretary Welles was also instrumental in the creation of the Navy’s Medal of Honor.
Using original photos and hand drawings of the Gideon Welles Serial Number 9 as reference, the master plate used in the creation of the new Silver Eagle pattern was hand cut for production with full coverage on both sides of the receiver cover.
The Silver Eagle pattern, like the Henry Rifle itself, is one piece of American history without rival. This model is built on the award winning Henry Golden Boy platform. The rifle features a traditional 20″ octagonal barrel outfitted with buckhorn sights; a gunsmithing masterpiece that closely mirrors its legendary predecessors, the original Henrys when they were patented in 1860.

Mr. Imperato, thank you for responding to my recent E-mail regarding my delight with my Silver Eagle. I would be honored to have my picture on your website. I was the guy who mentioned I grew up in Brooklyn NY. I lived on 88th St., one block up from the Dyker Beach Golf Course. Thanks again for your great company and terrific guns.

Dear Mr. Imperato,
I felt obligated to write you to express my thoughts about your products. I had read numerous reviews about your firearms and was very impressed. So I decided to add your firearms to my collection of over 100 guns. I own a variety of long guns, shotguns and handguns. So about eight months ago I purchased two of your Henry fire arms. The Henry Silver Eagle .22 for collection purposes and the Henry Lever Octagon .17 HMR for hunting. After getting the fire arms home and past my wife’s eagle eyes I sat down to inspect my purchase. The firearms were flawless, absolutely fantastic.
I was so impressed with the quality of workmanship that I decided to put both in my safe. Finally after weeks of admiring them I decided to take my .17 HMF to my local shooting range. I set my target out at 35 yards, loaded, took aim and pulled the trigger. As you can see from the enclosed target your product performed even better than claimed. After three more shots on a different target my jaw dropped open. “This just can’t be.” I said. You could cover the holes with a dime.
I want to congratulate you and your employees on building such fine guns. The craftsmanship is unmatched, the actions are as smooth as silk and they operate flawlessly. I am so impressed that I plan on purchasing three more guns in the near future. Finally I would like to say to you and all of your employees keep up the great work and keep it made in America.
Sincerely your firearm friend,
Leeland R. Pugh
Good Saturday to you Mr. Imperato !
Just wanted to send this photo once again expressing my complete joy over my Silver Eagle! My gunsmith, who’s name is also Anthony is also pictured with HIS Silver Eagle hence “Dueling Silver Eagles”
I hope you have a wonderful day Sir.

Hello Anthony,
Just watched the Henry television spotlight and wanted to email you and thank you for making an all American product, also for the quality of the product. As Americans we should take pride in what we do and not base our pride on the lack of pride of others. I am self-employed as a carpenter and work out in the elements everyday and have been very blessed to be born into a great family. As of now I own several Henry rifles and have a few more in my sights to purchase, of course I have to save up for each one. I own a Henry 22lr blued, a golden boy silver 22lr, golden boy 22lr, a silver eagle, Abraham Lincoln 22lr, 357 Golden boy, military tribute 22lr, Vietnam tribute 30/30, an 1860 non engraved 44-40. Hoping soon to own the survival 22lr , .45 long colt and a golden boy 30/30.
Thanks again for a great shooting gun that I can pass on to my sons someday. I heard you say Kentucky was per capita the beat state for your business and that’s where I am from, I usually purchase mine from Elizabethtown Gun and Sporting Company, look forward to many more days of hunting and plinking, keep up the great work.
