Golden Boy .22 S/L/LR, .22 Mag, .17 HMR
The Rifle That Brings Out The West In You
Whether you choose one chambered for .22 LR, .22 Magnum, or .17HMR, the Henry Golden Boy is a masterpiece of fine crafted gunsmithing. Any shooting enthusiast who closely examines one is immediately impressed with the excellent fit, finish and overall visually elegant design. The Golden Boy rifle’s awesome 20-inch blued octagonal barrel, American walnut stock, brass buttplate and gleaming Brasslite receiver will transport you back to the wild and wooley days of America’s Old West, when Benjamin Tyler Henry designed the original Henry lever action rifle.
Small game hunters and plinkers will appreciate its substantial 6¾ pound heft. It balances well and makes for highly accurate offhand shooting. The smooth action associated with Henry rifles opens and shuts with the effortless slickness lever-lovers long for. Get one in your hands and take aim. See what a natural pointer it really is. Adding to the historic authenticity is the adjustable buckhorn-type rear sight. The .22 LR version holds 16 rounds. The .22 Mag and .17HMR hold 12 rounds. Both will provide a whole lot of shooting pleasure before it’s time to reload their tubular magazines.
The Henry Golden Boy rifle is one beautiful classic that’s affordably priced so you hombres won’t have to rob a stagecoach to own one. All we ask is that you mosey on down to your local gun shop and ask to see the Henry Golden Boy. You’ll definitely agree it’s the rifle that brings out the West in you.
The youth version of our award winning Golden Boy has a shorter barrel and length of pull, this compact version is ideal for most youngsters or for the gals who may find it easier to handle. Comes with a brass barrel band.
Mom and son out shooting! Madison and I went out with our Golden Boys. We had a blast. Madison absolutely loves his gun. They are fun to shoot!
Dear Mr. Imperato, I just wanted to drop you a line and introduce you to my son in law Mr. Robbie Tubbs. He is a class act ,he teaches history at our local highschool and is the kind if person I believe that Henry represents in this great country of ours. So this week I purchased him his first Henry an H004 golden boy. I am proud that he is a part of our family and is now a part of the Henry family. Thank you for making quality firearms that I am honoured to not only own myself but also to share with those whom I hold dearest in my heart. I have also enclosed a picture of Robbie’s family, my daughter Sara and there first child Nora Grace who will also be joining the Henry family in the future.

My new Henry! -Lexi M.
Love my Henry, thank you! -Bob R.
I know you must get tons of thank you emails. This one is a bit different.
My father John, passed away last september 10, 2016. In the months preceding his death, as his health declined, he began talking to me
about one of his long past desires, to own and shoot a “John Wayne western style lever action rifle”. I immediately began to research
this, and the first hits that came up were for Henry Firearms. I quickly emailed for a catalog, and we went through it. He picked out
immediately which one he wanted, the Golden Boy 22LR.
Having never purchased a firearm before, I found a friend that is an FFL dealer, and he walked me thorough the process to obtain my
permit to purchase (which took longer than I hoped), and eventually ordered it through him. I have attached the pictures that were taken
when my dad finally got to open it. It was like the end of “The Christmas Story” when Ralphie finally got to open his Red Ryder BB Gun.
The smile on his face brought back to us who my dad used to be before his illness got worse.
One of his last wishes was to have the rifle personalized. I immediately put in the order for the personalized receiver cover, then saw
the lead times. I emailed customer service offering to pay any and all rush charges to get this in his hands ASAP so he could see it. I
received an email from you directly indicating that it would be down and out the door as soon as possible. In the mean time, you sent a
box with a couple hats, mugs and stuff. He loved that! He was declining fast, and ended up back in the hospital.
The receiver cover arrived at my house the day after he passed away. It was like a little gift from dad to me and my kids. I can’t
thank you enough for the thoughtfulness you and your team put into trying to make my dad’s last days a little more enjoyable.
It was a while before I was able to take the rifle out and shoot it for the first time. It was at a farm that belonged to a college
friend of his that I met at dad’s funeral party. I said a little prayer of thanks to God for Dad, and that first shot out of the Golden
Boy was dead center on the tannerite target. A loud whoomp put a big smile on my face, just as I know dad was smiling as he helped me
aim true for that first shot.
Since then many folks have shot that rifle in tribute to dad, and I don’t think anyone has actually missed that first shot. Its so
smooth and accurate, even for a rookie like me.
Thank you again, I will forever be a Henry fan, as will everyone I tell this story too. Even my brother in law, a long time shooter and
collector said “I have never liked lever actions, but I think I’ll have to make an exception on my next buy.” I’ll be sure to show him
the single shot options too

Anthony, I know with your very busy schedule you do not recall our emails last fall, but I did send you an email stating we purchased a Golden Boy Silver to go with the rest of our Henry inventory and how nicely it is manufactured. I mentioned we would send photos next time we go shooting in the desert since we live in the Tucson, Arizona area. Unfortunately we did not get to go shooting for various reasons until today and we took out the Silver for the first time. Outstanding to shoot with! As an added note, we went out with 4 firearms, including the Henry, but came home with 5!!! How is that accomplished? We stopped by Dick’s Sporing Goods and purchased one of your U.S. Survival .22’s. Our Henry collection is growing! Hope you get a kick out of the photos with our great Henry caps and Silver.

I finally presented my son with the rifle I had purchased from Henry Rifles. It was engraved with his rank and serial number of his years in service (24yrs) in the Navy as his personal serial number. Your company was gracious enough to upgrade the wood and include the wall plaque for free. I told everyone about how great is was work with your people and how YOU respected our military. My son was beside himself when his mother and I presented it to him. Thanks again and I hope to purchase my own Henry soon.

Anthony, this was an 87 yard standing shot made with the stock sights on my Henry 22 mag. My goal is to make a 100 yard plus shot with my Big Boy 45 Colt. Merry Christmas to all the folks at Henry.

I just wanted to let you know Mr. Anthony Imperato that I love your guns and quality. I have absolutely no words to describe the utmost high quality and standards that you ensure in every unit product that you manufacturer. I’m a devoted customer and I can’t wait to be able to afford another product from your American Made Company! Enclosed is a couple pictures of what I’ve been able to purchase so far. God Bless You And All Your Employees!
It is Christmas Eve morning and I am watching your 30 minute spot on the Discovery Channel. I am very impressed, but not surprised, of your focus on customer service and availability of you personally to the Henry owner community. Here is my daughter’s Henry story: In 2014 my daughter Morgan was 11 years old and we were at the Clay County Iowa Pheasants Forever Banquet. I noticed the PF Edition .22lr and told my wife we should buy that for Morgan as 11 is when I was given my first gun (my grandfather’s 1937 Stevens over/under .410 restored) and I wanted to make my daughter’s first gun a special heirloom piece. Knowing the quality and reputation of Henry I felt it would be the perfect firearm for her. $1,350 later it was hers. One of the people at our table said wow you paid way over retail for that. I explained to them that 1) it was a donation to Pheasants Forever and 2) It’s a Henry – a special gun for my special girl! As you know this industry is about relationships. Firearms bond families and friends. Here are some pics of my daughter and I creating memories in the field. She came up with me squirrel hunting while I was bow hunting the last day of the season before Shotgun season in Iowa last year in 2015. Thank you Anthony for leading a first class company and making your products in the United States of America.
Just bought my second Golden Boy. 22 LR rifle….just love it…my first was the 44 mag. It’s out of sight…cutting one hole at fifty yards with scope on it. Plan on getting more in the next few years to pass on down to children…I’m 71 now.. These are the best guns I’ve got and I’ve got a lot of guns. Thanks again.
– Rev. Ray Jones
We just thought we would send you a photo…. Talia has the Henry Golden Boy in .22LR. I have the Henry Big Boy in .357 Magnum. Talia loves shooting her Henry… but she likes to call her rifle a Henry Golden “Girl.” We’re a loyal Henry family!

Henry Golden Boy .22 S/L/LR
HOW MANY CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS WILL A .22LR GO THROUGH?
We were honored when the readers of Guns & Ammo magazine selected the Henry Golden Boy as ‘Rifle of the Year’ in 2001. It was the very first time a rimfire rifle won this prestigious award
