Now Is The Time To Buy American Made

Supporting American Manufacturers Is Now More Important Than Ever

With the motto, “Made in America, Or Not Made At All,” it’s no secret that we are huge proponents of putting Americans to work making American products. From the genuine American Walnut, to the gun barrel quality steel, to the hardened brass receivers, we have made a commitment from Day 1 to assemble our rifles and shotguns using domestic materials and craftsmanship. We’re not alone in this either. While not the majority, there are plenty of manufacturers, big and small, that have made a similar commitment to keeping their production on U.S. soil.

It is also no secret that the situation surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us. But if we stick together, we can get through this.

Chances are that you plan on purchasing something soon. It could be a block of cheddar cheese, a new car, or the lever-action rifle in .45 Colt that you have had your eye on. No matter what that purchase might be, you have a choice to make before spending your hard-earned money. Before you pull out your wallet or click that Checkout button, consider where the product is made and who benefits from your show of monetary support. Is it American made? If so, you are choosing to support American manufacturers in a time when that support is needed most, and on behalf of all American manufacturers, we can’t thank you enough.

We went back through our video archives to dig up this bit of gold, which now seems more appropriate than ever and sums it all up quite nicely.

Watch: Made in America or Not Made at All

Now is the time to come together as a country and ensure that American producers see this through and thrive for many more years to come. We certainly appreciate your support.

About 10 years ago I purchased a Henry 22 Magnum lever action shortly after I had been diagnosed with two forms of cancer. Since it was in the dead of winter I hadn’t had a chance to fire it but fell in love with the rifle and the action smooth as silk. at that time I emailed the Henry company to think Mr imperato for his wonderful weapons and explain to him that as soon as I had completed my chemotherapy I would be taking my new rifle to the range. Shortly after that within a few days l received a phone call from Mr imperato himself. We spoke for about 15 minutes and he was such a gracious man that I will never forget our conversation. 10 years later I decided I wanted another rifle in 17 HMR, and of course the only rifle I would want was a Henry lever action. Not only is Henry one of the best companies in the country but it also is run by one of the most caring person you could ever hope to buy anything from. Thank you Mr imperato for your wonderful rifles and your compassion for those who love them as I do

Agree. Let’s buy American! Let’s create products and services worthy of the Made In USA label. Henry is dedicated to that ideal. Wish all U.S. manufacturers would engineer their products to last a lifetime (or longer). Made in America should be the gold standard of all manufacturing!

Bought the 12 gauge shotgun about a year ago. Very happy with the purchase. .I use it for single shot trap shooting. Very reliable, well made, beautiful wood, Comfortable to shoot, the rear pad soaks up the recoil, not too heavy so I can shoot for an extended period of time. I’ll be keeping this gun, not ever selling it.

I have been admiring Henry Rifles for some time now and am eager to own one. I have always been a “buy American” consumer. Buying American supports your neighbor and your town. It is very hard today to find American Made goods. Henry makes it easy and I agree, “made in America or not at all.”

What kind of people are you, this is one world and all people as one. There is only one God, and he takes care of the whole world. Can you look a young child and take away his only meal for the day while you are eating 3 meals or more a day, just because is in a different country. Or do you think God only wants the children in the USA to get 3 meals a day. It is 2020 and time to wake up and treat all people as one. No child has the choice where he is born and all children deserve to eat. ONE GOD, ONE WORLD, ONE PEOPLE.

    • Kevin

I hope the kids do eat, grow up, make the choice to immigrate to America legally, then buy a Henry!

Sounds good on paper, never worked in reality. We are all one humanity, with multiple hundreds of different nations and millions of communities. I’m sure God will understand my non-support of Chinese forced child labor, and my support for quality products made by paid adult workers in the same country I live in.

        May 12, 2020

        Good answer.
When most of the rest of the world is trying to destroy us, even after we send aid and the Peace Corps to help them, I cannot feel sorry for those countries that exploit their citizens and let them procreate as many children as they can produce. I think instead of sending money or food we should be sending condoms and birth control pills to them. A lot of countries have too many people and they can’t feed them. That’s when they become a burden on the rest of the world!
One day we WILL have to control the population!
        Just Sayin!

To my knowledge, and I have been scratching this earth for 60 years, there is not a country in this world that does more for the less fortunate than the United States of America! The approach is simple, shake our hand and ask for help and you will likely receive it, threaten our freedom, our family our way of life…you will get a boot in your ass. Nuff said.

A couple of years ago, I purchased a .22 lever action for myself. I thought it to be so well made, I then purchased a second rifle for my Grandson who is now 14 years old. My son, who now is now 54, also owns a Henry .22 rifle lever. Without any doubt, they are the finest and smoothest lever action I have ever seen.

    • Joseph Mudra
      May 12, 2020

Henry makes a fine rifle. I own the .22 golden boy. But as for fine action, I was fortunate to get my hands on an early 1960s Marlin .22 lever a ton. I believe Henry’s had the Marlin in mind when they build their guns to compete with Marlin who slipped a bit when they exported the manufacturing of their guns. The Marlin from the USA has some of the best machine work ever.

    Good morning fellow Americans!
I am SO GLAD to hear that HENRY FIREARMS are still in production and hope that ALL of your members are healthy and doing well during this difficult time. I am reminded of your fine quality firearms each time (more frequently now!) I take my Henrys to the range for some ‘positive concentration’ time!
Soon we ALL will be recovering TOGETHER from this pandemic crisis and will once again get back to our normal happy lives!
Thank you once again for your fine work and may God Bless!

Canadians know that Henry rifles are made in the USA. That has been drummed into our heads and there is no doubt that Canadians love their Henry rifles as much as Americans do. Recently, a Canadian publication described those products that Canadians should be buying and most, of course, were Canadian manufactured items. Then, American goods were listed as the ones to buy followed by Mexican items. After all, we three countries have a trade deal and we should all be taking great notice of where items that we buy are made. All three countries make good products far superior to those which are brought in from the Far East. We North Americans must stick together and bring back manufacturing to our shores. In my shop, I have tools that are thirty to forty years old, some made in the USA and some made in Canada and all are still working and have stood up well for all those years. Some of my woodworking power tools were made in the USA and I still can rely on them to do the job I want to do. Then there are other tools in the scrap heap that never did pass the test of time. You all know where they were made! So let’s all make sure we buy North American first and get all our fine workers back making the reliable products we used to know. Thank you.

  • Ted Finkbohner
    May 12, 2020

Oh I think it is past time to concentrate on “made in USA” This country works best when we all work and buy what we make. Let the rest of the world take a hike. Time to worry about our neighbors and not the guy across the ocean, over the border.

I have two guns that I am looking to purchase soon, one first and then the other when I get more money. One is a concealed carry handgun, the other is your pump action 22. Now I’m leaning towards the American made rifle. I just wish there was a dealer nearby that had one in stock so I could handle it before purchasing. But I know you produce a quality product.
Thank you for your pride in the American workforce. I hope you all prosper and are blessed by the good lord.

Please build cowboy. case colored, with full length 26″ Octagon barrels and mag. tubes. They must have frame based loading gates, and crescent butts. Please in the following calibers: .327 Mag., .357 Mag., .44 Mag., .350 Legend, 25/35, I will buy one in each caliber listed. They must have slimmer and sleeker stocks. Those longer barrels will give your guns better balance. Please Put a low profile peep sight on these rifles.

Please also build a cowboy copy of the Marlin 39A with 26″ octagon barrel and mag tube, crescent butt and no cross bolt safety. It must be along the lines of the Marlin Model 92 and 97 models with sleek and well made stocks. Also, put simple low profile peep sights on your rifles.

Please put a raised comb on your golden boy rifles so that they have proper cheek spot welds on them rather than jaw spot welds. Make those barrels 26″ long.

Please pay attention to these suggestions so that I can buy those guns. I had to throw out a 20″ inch barrel on my Henry .17 HMR golden boy rifle, make the mag tube longer, and put a Williams Receiver Sight on my original rifle. Do not want to have to do that again for all your other lever action rifles that I want to buy.

Buy American, period. If you do your homework you will find out that in most cases it does not cost any more and the job you save may be your own. I own two Henry rifles, planning on buying a third. Thank you to everybody at Henry for producing such a wonderful product.

We can apply this to so many things besides firearms. Thank you Henry for reminding everybody of this. Whether it’s your automobile, your tools, or whatever it is… Sometimes we have no option but in most cases we do and whenever there is a made-in-usa option I will always exercise it. I now own a Marlin Glenfield model 80 that has been a very good rifle. I am in the process of removing some rust & doing a new blue job. I am also putting feed & wax on the wood. This will then be my 6 yr. old great grandsons 1st. gun . Now I want to buy a new Henry 22cal. But I don’t want an auto loader. A bolt or lever action would be fine. I would appreciate a catalog of 22s so I could make my choice. I loved my old Marlin but today nothing comes close to a Henry. I am 78 yrs. old and so I now want the best , & I believe that Henry Is it. Thank you. John Hresko

Not only do we have QUALITY products when made in America, but buying American supports businesses and employment for our families, neighbors, and friends.

Henry sets the example for all American businesses to follow.

Henry firearms are so great that I purchased the Washington Exhibition Edition Henry Golden Boy Silver.

QUALITY QUALITY QUALITY and a business that support the Nation.

Thank you Anthony Imperato and the Henry Repeating Arms family for all you do.

It’s sad that people need to be reminded of the importance of supporting American manufacturing, but they do. My eight Henry’s are beautiful to look at, and even more beautiful to shoot. Thanks to the amazing team at Henry Repeating Arms for not only honoring the tradition of quality products produced in the U.S.A., but in setting a new standard of excellence.

TERRIFIC VIDEO AD. Although it’s beyond most families to toss out everything made overseas…the message
is loud and clear that there are options for Americans to buy Made in the USA goods. Henry, of course
but there are other products whose manufacturers produce some items in the USA but import others.
I believe one or more of the cereal makers produce here and Mexico for example. Wise choices can
bring back lots of jobs lost overseas!!

I have a Henry Goldenboy that my wife bought me for our anniversary one year. I really like that rifle! I enjoyed your video and appreciate that Henrys are made in the U.S. However, what American company manufactures televisions, cell phones, and computers? None! Not one is made in the U.S. I always found it tragic that the nation (us!) that invented VCRs never built a single one!

    I very much like Henrys!

Your company and staff are a blessing to New Jersey, Wisconsin and the USA We need many more companies that have the commitment to our country to use domestic equipment, materials, and product.
I, for one, certainly admire and appreciate the work you do and the excellent products you provide the shooting and hunting sport community. I have 22’s 22mags 45 colt 45 70 lever rifles made by HRA. Every one of the many rifles and carbines I own made by you is a superior made rifle that will become a family hand down for generations! That’s why I buy them.
Also – Your company has proven that just because the product is made here in the US, it doesn’t have to cost a small fortune! That is another reason why I have 7 of them. More to come!
Keep up the excellent work. Be safe and healthy~!

Made in America with American components was a major factor with my purchase. Purchased a cold-case hardened 357 Big Boy.
Haven’t had a lot of opportunities to shoot this work of art but had a lot of fun running 6 boxes of 357 & 38 special thru it with my son in law and my other daughter’s boyfriend!
Now trying to decide on my next Henry Repeating Arms purchase, probably a Golden Boy 22 Mag or an 357 X Model.

Hello Henry, I am a sports shop owner and gunsmith here in Hot Springs SD and i sell your guns. I recently (March) bought a HO15 single shot rifle in 243 win for my wife for her birthday. She loves the rifle however the buttstock is a little too long in the length of pull. I could not buy a youth model at the time as none of my warehouses had any that i deal with. So since then i have sent you folks numerous emails and a fax to get a price for a youth buttstock with the recoil pad and availability. Not one person has bothered to contact me and i find that to be quite odd as the owner of Henry is always on TV talking up how good your service is.
I want to buy and continue to sell your guns but this puts a really bad taste in my mouth by this total lack of service. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE AT LEAST CONTACT ME? I realize that with covid -19 things are all messed up ,but after 2 months at least an email or a phone message would really make me feel good about your service claims. Phone- 605-890-0316 FFL# 3-46-047-01-9L-00247 A regular customer would have been quite angry by now ,with me ,due to the long time without an answer ,and my wife has been overly patient ,however she asks what happened frequently ,and even she said ” You know we have been selling guns now for over 30 years and have never had a problem where you can’t even get a response from the manufacturer,” and i tend to agree with her. So this is my last try to purchase this buttstock from you and then i will give up , sell her gun, and go with a different brand. Thank you, Ray Hulse

Ever since I saw a Henry rifle I wanted one, So one day I found one in a pawn shop, 17 hmr brass with oct. barrel. Wish I would see more of it in demos. Then I walked into a gun shop and their was a 357 Big Boy also brass with oct. barrel, did’not take much to buy it. Now I have my sights set on a 410 Ax, soon I will have one. Also I want to say how great your service is, Had a issue with the 17 Hmr sent it to Henry and it came back repaired no charge. What a great people.

    May 12, 2020

Good timing with the video! I’ve started examining items our family purchases to BUY USA MADE!
I think of the Henry video and motto. I’m blessed to own a Henry Golden Boy in .357/.38 and 3 .22 caliber Henry’s including an Evil Roy! We homeschooled our kids for a while when younger, and we took up target shooting for an activity. A Henry Youth .22 was what my son and daughter both used. It has some character marks from use, but I know exactly the story behind them…and it’s ok!!! Keep up the GREAT work and incredible HENRY firearms!

Lastly, I will always remember that Mr Imperato responded personally to me a long time ago following our first Henry purchase and that has stayed with me they the years.

Stay safe! May God have mercy and blessings on each of you and upon our nation…USA PROUD!

I’ve wanted a Henry rifle in 45/70 for a long time. Problem is,I simply can’t justify spending what you ask for these rifles to have as a” fun range or occasional hunting” gun. Too expensive! But now during this pandemic as someone who still has a steady income…you help me by lowering your prices and I’ll help you by buying one or two of your rifles! You have my email.

Henry rifles (and guns in general) are very well made piece of quality equipment. The rimfire models are more cost saving conscious but all else being equal very light and pointable. They’re also not ammo picky and considering the barrels are not free floated superbly accurate. If pests and small game could only talk…

The centerfire models by far are the best lever guns ever made. A tad heavier than the classics but more accurate than either a Marlin or Winchester and the action from brand new is about as slick as a Pre-64 Winchester. I can ring steel at 200 yards with open sights all day long like it’s nobody’s business. It doesn’t wear down either at reasonable round counts although I found a way to tire out a Henry shooting the living daylights out of my 22. No other company would have warrantied a gun with such a high round count, it’s the one that always goes to the range. They fixed it for free the only questions being asked were what was wrong with it.

I love Henrys because they’re different and fun. Everyone has the latest assault rifle with all sorts of accessories hanging off but sometimes you just want a light, handy, pointable gun in the forest that doesn’t get stuck in the brush as you bushwhack through thorns.

Mr. Imperato has impressed me with his obvious passion for the firearms his company produces. He is open to criticism and makes corrections when necessary. Case in point: I ordered some clothing a couple of years ago but prior to checking out, I noticed that the clothes was being taxed. I brought this to his attention and he corrected it…never forgot that. I own the new side gate 30/30 and the original 30/30….which I would love to sell..dont need them both. Thanks! ART….be SAFE!!

I had to wait 50+ years to get my own Golden Boy 22 LR. for Christmas. As we are back in Mississippi on the Gulf coast and cant wait to shoot my own Henry. Well worth the wait. Anthony & the Henry family, I LOVE this video‼️I am by no means a conspiracy theorist but I cannot believe that the entire Coronavirus pandemic is a “mistake”. Down to its basics, it is a superbly engineered virus with a mutation ability that allows it to change so often that it is extremely difficult to develop the cure and preventative measures. There is no doubt in my mind that this was created to bring not just America but the world to its knees, thereby young China’s economic position to one of superiority. That’s why I have been encourage all of my family and friends to stop funding the Chinese economy by implementing a 100% ban on purchasing anything made in China. Use their own tactics against them. Made in America & buy American IS the only path forward. God bless you and God bless America.

I’ve been impressed with the Henry Rifles for some time now, received your recent catalogue, and just today bought a Mare’s Leg .45 Colt with classic design and beautiful components. As an Albertan, when we say – Made in America, or Not Made At All – it also means, in my opinion, Made in North America. Without any reservations, I know it was made well and as such I am proud to own a Henry.

  • Ricardo Partida
    May 13, 2020

I certainly feel that American Made is vitally important. Especially now that many companies are opting to outsource, hurting our economic well being while supporting countries that use child and underpaid workers. I am a retired union member which was always in support of buying US made products and will continue to instill onto my children and grandchild the importance of standing behind our US manufacturers. Will be buying my first Henry Lever Action 30 30 side gate this week. Even though it’s seems a little steep in price {especially for someone on a fixed budget}, but I always wanted to do my part in supporting this great company.

I purchased a new Henry Bigboy 357/38 in March of this year and I am not disappointed. My son and I have been out a few times target shooting so far and find the accuracy to be spot on out to two hundred yards. Can’t wait till deer season this fall.

Exactly my thoughts. We will as Americans over come this nonsense. During the stay at home request I had ample time to view the many interesting Henry related videos on YouTube including the 22Plinkster. Just yesterday I purchased two new Henrys – H012CC and H009CC. Both are outstanding and well made. Thanks for a quality product and an outstanding staff. Steve

I believe in buying American made products. My wife does too. You make great rifles. I have 2 of them. If we could just get the rest of the country to buy American. We have far too many products being manufactured out of our country. It makes me so sad that so many Americans will not support America.

I sure wish that someone would make a carbine that could use 45acp rounds to match my pistol. In a bad time these would be much easier to find. They do make these for revolvers. Just wondering. Also why not just regular walnut stock equipped rifles that are like your “black rifles”. I was thinking about a 30-30 from Henry for my longer range hunting. That’s far enough to walk.

God Bless you and the entire team at Henry Repeating Arms. I wish you all well through this terrible COVID issue. I am indeed buying two more rifles in the very near future. They will not Remlins,Marlingtons , Winchester’s or Japanese brownings. They will be a Henry Small Game rifle in .22mag and a Henry Big Boy Steel in .45 Colt and the will sit in my safe next to my other Henry’s . I have already replaced my Browning 308 with a long ranger and both my browning .22 levers with a Henry Golden Boy in .22lr and a Henry Hoo1 which has been handed down to my oldest grandson. Henry Repeating Arms are loved and well respected in this house hold and will continue to be the item of choice as finances allow. Thanks again and keep up the great. God bless you and hold you through these terrible times. And thank you again for your continued support of the American worker.

Henry Rifles, I love’em, the Action is buttery smooth. I own a big boy 44.
I want to thank you all for your commitment to excellence and taking pride in American heritage. It’s what you do. Thank you for the innovative side loading gate, won’t lie it’s a definite bonus to a superb lever action firearm. I plan on a (soon) future purchase of a Henry Axe Handle 410.
My only other thought is… I would love to see links to or a approved product line of Henry leather wraps for Henry Rifles. Example: slings, stock, lever wraps, butt pads for shotguns.
I like to dress up my western firearms, who dosent?

    Thank You again

My wife gave me a Henry Golden Boy 45-70 for my 74th birthday on 11-25-2019. My 4 deer hunting friends were present on our Wisconsin farm and witnessed the event. It was a tremendous surprise and I was so pleased to receive the rifle for which I have wished for such a long time.
Not only do I now own a Henry rifle but it was made in Rice Lake, WI, which makes it even more special. Thank you for manufacturing such a fine product and doing it here in America.

    Dear Mr. Imperato,
I have purchased 4 different rifles from Henry rifles over the past few years. 22 Winchester Magnum Frontier, .45 Colt Big Boy, .44 Magnum Stainless Big Boy and your .22 Long Rifle Pump Gallery gun that I remembered that used to be on the Seaside Heights Boardwalk many Moons ago. I have currently on order from Zero Signal gun shop a Big Boy .357. I think your firearms are second to none, as I have been on 2 City Slicker tours out West and enjoy every moment of being a Cowboy. Again keep up the Great work. Especially in an ANTI-GUN State like New Jersey.

I have three brothers and two sisters. When each of us turn 50 years old, to celebrate this milestone, our family tradition, is — we all “pitch-in” and purchase a Henry .22 level action H001 rife and present it as a birthday gift. Well, I’m now 61, second oldest, and to let you know, I have not shot my cherished Henry birthday gift — today, I went an purchased a second Henry H001 and plan to begin having fun with it at the range tomorrow. I plan to shoot this one and often!!! Thank you for making beautiful rifles! Next, I have my eye on the Eagle Scout rifle as both my son and I are Eagle Scouts!

Awesome!! Hopefully everyone’s getting on board with let’s make America the biggest manufacturing country on the planet, please keep pushing that narrative, And let’s get back to our roots.
Would love to own One or two of your rifles, awesome workmanship. So a few moths ago, via e-mail , I contacted one of your Gold dealers suggested off your Web site , located here in Virginia Beach.
It took two weeks for them to get back with the following response: The model you want is on available!! I said no other information and/or relevant options.
So basically really did not make me feel like they were interested in my business.
This whole exchange was via email, so I forwarded it to you guys, and never received a response back.
I’m sorry it fell on deaf ears.
However, awesome products , to bad they’re not easy to purchase.

I have been telling people since the first company; CocaCola; signed a contract with China In 1979. This signaled the beginning wave of Chinese junk into the United States. I was ridiculed when I told people this contact with China would begin a product crisis which would plague American products. People told me I was crazy to think China would steal American jobs and production from our nation. They said the Chinese didn’t have the technical ability to hijack the majority of hard goods into America. I wish I had been wrong, but as it turned out I was spot-on with my prediction.

When I was working on my Masters Degree at Central Missouri State University, our Family took a day off and drove to Missouri’s largest shopping mall the Saint Louis Galleria. When we were in the Mall we went to a “Hush Puppies” shoe store where my wife purchased a pair of their shoes. Being the ever-vigilant buyer, I looked at the tag on the shoes to check where they were made. The tag said “Proudly Made in America.” When we returned to Warrensburg (MO) my wife looked at the tag and the same shoe had the tag which said “Made in China.” I was livid! It is one thing to purchase an item when you know it is a Communist product. But when a store displays a product which bears a “Made in America, tag, and a sales person lies, assuring the customer all their shoes are American made, and you find the item is made in a place where you specifically said you wouldn’t buy that item, it “ticks you off.”

Saint Louis and Warrensburg are 217 miles by car or is a 3 hour 20 minutes apart, if you drive non-stop. The next day I said to my wife, “I think we need to drive back to St. Louis, take those shoes back and give them “he-double L toothpicks,” about mis-representing their product. (Thank you Radar O’Reilly.) She thought I was being extreme in driving back to St. Louis and maybe it was, but I wanted to make a point to the people in the store.

I told them about Chinese leather manufacturing. How it is tanned using slave labor. The prisoners are forced to wade chest deep in tanning vats and agitate the skins of animals with no protection. It is just the person in just light clothing, being soaked for eight to ten hours in a solution filled with cancer causing agents .Tanneries use different chemicals and acids at various stages to process the leather. After the hair is removed, they use chromium sulfate with other chemicals to tan the hides. The chromium turns the leather blue—known at this stage of the process as “wet blue”—and stains the skin of the workers. Chinese State tanneries still use the notoriously dangerous hexavalent chromium in the tanning process. Hexavalent chromium causes serious skin and respiratory irritation. Workers develop blackened, peeling skin on their hands, feet and lower body from long exposure to the tanning chemicals. The workers are never told about the hazards s of the chemicals they handle daily. They are told they would be released from prison when they finish their sentence for whatever crime (usually political) they are accused of. The only “release” from this forced labor is death from the effect of the chemicals.

This is the reason I returned a simple pair of “Hush Puppies” to the store. It was to tell them exactly what they were selling and how people were being killed by the guards running those State factories. After my lecture the Manager told me I was mistaken, He said their company did not use leather made in any such factory. All the leather comes from State factories, and it is the same in 2020 as it was ever since shoes have been made by the State.

Now we know the Chinese Government knew about the the COVID-19 virus during the month of September 2019, but withheld information about it until the first case hit Washington State when a returning American visitor from China started the spread of the virus in the United States.

So what does this have to do with firearms? Believe it or not, Chinese AK-47’s are being shipped and sold in the United States. About 2,000 fully automatic AK-47-type weapons from China were brought into the United States through the port of Oakland last March 18, according to authorities. (Source: BATF) Many of these weapons end up in the hands of criminals on our streets and right now as I write this, Seattle is under siege. The six blocks surrounding Seattle’s police headquarters has been occupied by Communists and fellow-travelers, toting automatic rifles; most likely many being AK-47’s; June 11, 2020; and with the opinion; or blessing; of City officials and the Mayor in charge, we will have to wait and see how this insurrection will play out.

Is it too late for American manufacturing to return to the United States? Or will the Communists, malcontents and Anarchists succeed in bring this nation to its’ knees? If anyone believes “It cant happen here,” consider this fact. The Mayor of Los Angeles just today cut $150 Million from the Police budget effective immediately, and other jurisdictions are caving-in to the demands of the “Black Lives Matter” crowd. This crowd should consider changing their slogan to “Black Lives Matter, If you are a Communist.”) Case in point: The retired, Black St. Louis Police Captain who was shot and killed in the street while attempting to answer an alarm at a liquor store several nights ago. We may have heard one, short mention, of this incident on the managed media.

Yes, absolutely, Henry is a great example of American quality, workmanship and superiority, when compared to foreign manufacturers. There are a few other American gum manufacturers left here as well.

But the issue isn’t only about guns. It is about TV’s, radios, furniture, and all of the other items being thrown out of the house in the “Henry” TV spot. The fight for the Freedom and Liberty , our Constitution and the literal survival of America, is the issue. We have plenty of problems to worry about. I pray we are up to the task of defending our Country.

I’ve bought several Henry rifles over the last 10 years. I’ve shot them all, from .22 to 45-70, and everything in between. I can honestly say that not one of them has ever made me disappointed after the purchase. I’ve only had a couple that required service, and HRA was quick and friendly with both items. There’s a reason very few Henry rifles are found on the used market….they are too good to part with!

I have to say I was thoroughly impressed by a purchase I made on a Henry Big Boy Steel 357 Mag. However I have concerns with jamming malfunctions where the next round somehow gets stuck when going from the tubular magazine into the chamber. I am not sure if it’s simply a breaking the firearm in issue or if it’s a defect but otherwise the rifle is fun to shoot! I am curious, are there any talks about developing a lever action 500 S&W Magnum? I know big horn armory makes one but wow it is incredibly expensive. I would like to see a Henry lever action 500 S&W Magnum at a reasonable price!

How long does it take? I went to Grice Gun Shop in Clearfield,Pennsylvania to purchase a Henry Original. The only rifle they had on hand was an Original in 44-40, but ammunition was not available, so the salesman told me he had an Original in .45 LC on back order. I placed a sizable down payment on this particular rifle. I had no idea how long the rifle had been on back order by Grice, but it’s been nearly two months since placing my order. I’m curious — just how long does it take to purchase a Henry made in the USA? In this day and age and with the world like it is, I could surely understand a waiting period for an AK or an AR, but lever action, really, this long! I’ve determined that if I don’t hear anything by 10-15-20, I’m afraid I’m going to demand that my down payment be refunded and purchase another item. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this, but this transaction has been very discouraging because my inquiries to Grice, as well as Henry, have gone unanswered. Sincerely Joe Carolus

Withdrew my deposit Wednesday, went to Guns Plus in Duncannon Pennsylvania on Thursday and purchased a Henry Big Boy in .357. Then rode to Sportsman’s Warehouse located some .45-.40 ammunition so I decided to go back to Grice to purchase the Henry Original in 45-40. Went to Grice Friday and found out the Henry Original in .45 came in Thursday, so I purchased the Original I had waited on for two months after no response from anyone. Happy that it worked out like it did, even though it was very frustrating.

I received a Henry Big Boy case hardened in .44 Mag for my 80th Birthday May 02, 2020
My son heard many times from me in the past, that I would like to own a Henry.
I guess he was paying attention; when I received this gift I was overwhelmed with joy and surprise.
Although I don’t hunt anymore, because of health issues, I still enjoy shooting when I can.
I had to scope it with a Bushnell 1-4X , my eyes aren’t as sharp as they used to be.
I love this rifle, It is well balanced ,shoots great, smooth action, great craftmanship, and
most of all “MADE IN THE USA “.

I was sent a new stock for my H 001 .22 and much appreciate the gesture. Thank you. however, these stocks sold as walnut, are not walnut and if the suppliers claim they are they are misleading the henry company. I have refinished many, many gunstock, and this wood,i believe, is birch with a walnut glaze. Once they need refinished ,it can be very difficult to make them look good. The tang groove is almost pure white , where the heartwood should be. definitely not walnut.

As I said in an earlier email I purchased my new Henry X 45 70 a week ago and I am very proud to support Henry and all of their employees. We are in troubled times but we can get through this because we are Americans and are proud of our heritage. My next rifle will be a 44 magnum also from Henry. May God bless all of you and may you have a happy Thanksgiving and a Very Merry Christmas.

I own three Henrys. My favorite would be my Big Boy Steel in 357 mag. But I also love my 22 cal smal l game carbine for just fun plinking. The Marlin guys at the range are very impressed with my Henrys. They see the quality of these firearms. To everyone at Henry- A joyous, and safe Holiday Season, and a very prosperous 2021!

I have a Colt 45 Henry. BB0022307 C What is its name? Great rifle and I had it engraved.

Also, you say American made but I looked all over your website wanting to know where the materials come from. I used to know the walnut came from Missouri. But can’t remember where the steel and brass comes from. Would you please inform me?

I’m giving it to my nephew eventually and would like to tell him where the walnut, steel and brass came from. Thanks

Please build a 45-70 lever action rifle with the octagon barrel and a 26 or 28 inch barrel with an eight or nine round capacity. I don’t want to buy a Marlin 1895 CB. If you could build one to order I would be very interested. I love the quality of your rifles and your customer service. Everyone in your company should be proud of building a product of such high quality here in the USA. Thank you.

We are a Henry dealer in Inman, SC. I know the pandemic stopped production for a short period of time. I usually stock about 30 Henry rifles in our store. I’ve been working with our distributors to get Henry rifles. I’ve turned up a big fat goose egg trying to acquire some more rifles. Currently, i am down to about 2 rifles and 1 shotgun. Any help or guidance is appreciated. You can email at the above email or contact Drew Etheredge directly at 864-472-8846. I hope everyone is safe and getting through these tough times. Thank you.

Been looking for color case hardened side gate in 357 for months, nothing but out of stock messages online, and my local dealers have no idea of when they might be able to get one. In the meantime I’ve watched the prices go up and up, to the point where I’m wondering if this is planned unavailability. If it is, every gun manufacturer is involved. Virtually every firearm is unavailable. I can’t get a straight answer anywhere. Guess it doesn’t matter, no ammunition for sale either. (Unless you want Russian ammo).
So is this a plan to make more money? If it is, it may not be successful, I can’t afford one now.

I’m looking for your classic big boy 357/38 special in brass either the carbine or regular rifle. All the retailers I have checked with do not have any in stock and can’t order one from you. I heard that it is a 6 month backlog wait if ordered from Henry direct. Looking to purchase one. Your rifles look great. Any suggestions? Hope your company is doing well.

I love the fact Henry’s are made in America but wish they would make several changes f9r the Cowboy Action Shooter Market.
I’ve been a CAS and gunsmith for about 17 years and know that Marlin is a big competitor for Henry where CAS are concerned.

Henry would benefit from having a CAS Model with a lightened main and lever spring, hardened ejector and extractor and most of all, a One Piece Firing Pin, no spring necessary here.

The bolt could remain chromed anr stainless but polished.

It is amazing how smooth and fast a Henry Big Boy can be made for competition by someone who knows the rifle and how it functions. I think the additions above would round off a Great Rifle for CAS and make it a serious competitor for Marlin and other CAS long arms..

    Thank you for your time.

I’ve been trying to get the new lever action 410 shotgun for several weeks now. Every dealer in my area says you’re not taking orders. Is this stupid pandemic panic affecting your productivity that bad? (Please hurry up before I buy an Indian Scout)

I agree with the value in supporting American manufacturers like Henry. That being said I placed an order in Dec 2020 and I can not get any feedback even on a scheduled production date thru our dealer or even by way of direct emails sent to Henry contact page months ago. This is simply disrespectful and bad business. We have extended lead time on construction materials as well but, at least we get courtesy updates. I wanted to respect Henry but I don’t feel the courtesy is mutual.
