The Henry 1,000 Man Shoot

Remembering A Time Before Social Distancing

May 1, 2020

Watch the 1,000 Man Shoot Documentary and remember a time before social distancing.

On November 14, 2016, at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility in Phoenix, Arizona, 1,000 men and women stood together, shoulder-to-shoulder, and sent 2 synchronized shots downrange to celebrate the importance of the Second Amendment. The firing line glistened from reflections of the limited edition Golden Boy Silver receiver covers in the Arizona sun and smiles of the participants, volunteers, and Henry employees that took part.

These were happy days when we could all get together (not over a Zoom meeting), shake hands, interact, and enjoy the company of over 1,000 individuals that shared a common passion.

We can’t wait to get back to those days and do something like this again.

      May 7, 2020

I agree with you Ed! I have always loved the Henry and it is the one carbine that I still have on my bucket list. At 70 not too many years left to complete that Bucket List but that 1000 rifle shoot would place as “I did it!” on that Bucket List! That would complete this Vietnam Veteran and retired Police Officers dream.

I am a Henry owner. I have a Henry 410, serial # 20. A great purchase. Actually took a deer from a ground blind with a 410 slug last season. Just purchased a Golden Boy with intentions of purchasing an engraved receiver for my grandson. I am sold on Henry. Would love to be a part of the next 1000 man shoot.

Go out but support everyone continuing safe practices. The Chinese Communist Party intentionally spread this pandemic and it is a killer. Be Patriotic. Be Free. Bullets won’t stop this weapon China released. Lets open up up but not be foolish! Ya’ll take care.

Let’s do the next 1,000 man shoot in Washington DC on capital hill to show the Left and Anti gun people that we are serious about “KEEPING” or rights under the 2nd Amendment and we will “NEVER” give in to their unconstitutional ways or give up our rights!!!

It was great to look at the last 1000 man shoot again. Did not get picked for that one but if you do it again and I am still above ground I will apply again. Our ranges finally opened so I can now take out my new Henry 30-30 and try it out and line it up. God bless you all.

There is no truer American then Anthony Imperato, Brooklyn born and raised, grandson of immigrants. Mr. Imperato and I have traded E-mails for a couple of years and he always has a kind word when we e-mail each other. I own a Henry 22 Caliber and the action and every part is top quality. What other Owner of a firm the size of Henry lists his e-mail and personally guarantees his product himself. Watching this 1000 Man shoot actually bought tears to my eyes. My older brother, a retired Teacher died 3 weeks ago from the Covid-19 virus. He and I spoke every day without fail since I moved to Florida 27 years ago and his death has been devastating to me and my family. The 1000 Man video reminded me that Americans indeed have “True Grit” and will survive anything. May God Bless Mr. Imperato, his family, employees, and all that have lost someone they love from this pandemic. Thank You, Mr. Imperato, and thanks to you to the 1000 shooters and their families. God Bless America!!!!

    May 19, 2020

This was very special. I had to keep wiping the tears from eyes. Simply magnificent! I’m very soon to be 68, a Vietnam veteran, and a gun owner and shooter all my life. My dad bought me a .410 single shot shotgun (previously owned) when I was 6 years old. Though I lost him, (a WW11 Marine, 93 years young) just last November 23rd., I know he is with me every time I pick up a firearm for any purpose (range, cleaning, hunting).
I’ve wanted a Henry AR-7 since I was a kid, and now more than ever. Soon, I hope.
Thank you for what you do, what you stand for and “Made in America, or NOT MADE at ALL”!
I would love to be a part of the next event if possible.

Missed the first 1,000 Man Shoot, would like to be part of the next great American shoot out. The quality, attention to detail, outstanding customer service, but most of all is the fact that it is “Made in America, or NOT made at all”. I am a Vietnam Vet, could cross off one more off my bucket list, to participate in the next gathering of fellow Veterans and gun owners who support this great nation.
