Meet Keane Rhodes, a courageous 13-year-old from Universal City, Texas, who’s taking on the fight of his life with the strength and spirit of a true warrior. On New Year’s Day, 2024, Keane was diagnosed with ALL T-Cell Leukemia, a rare and aggressive form of blood cancer. He is undergoing intense chemotherapy treatments, including lumbar punctures, spinal taps, IV infusions, and radiation, due to the presence of cancer cells in his cerebrospinal fluid. His doctors estimate treatment will last at least two years.
In just the first month of diagnosis, Keane endured seven treatments, but he’s not backing down. His fight continues at Methodist Children’s Hospital in San Antonio, surrounded by his devoted family and a community of friends, teammates, and supporters.
HONORING A TRUE FIGHTER
Keane is an avid outdoorsman and athlete. Whether it’s football, baseball, hunting with his dad, or fishing for anything that bites, Keane does it with passion. His football teammates affectionately call him “Honey Badger” for his grit on the field, and from the stands, his mom affectionately cheers him on with her signature shout: “Keanie Weanie!”
Keane’s been selected for elite baseball teams and dreams of becoming a professional baseball player or a pyrotechnical engineer. Being sidelined since his diagnosis has been devastating—but Keane’s spirit is unbreakable.
50 GUNS FOR A GREAT CAUSE
To help support the Rhodes family during this difficult time, Henry Repeating Arms is proud to announce the Team Keane Golden Boy rifle series. We produced 50 rifles, each with artwork and engraving donated by our friends at Baron Engraving.
The custom artwork pays tribute to everything that makes Keane who he is—his love of sports, the outdoors, and his unshakable spirit. On the buttstock, you’ll find deeply engraved images of a honey badger getting ready to swing, a football field, a fishing rod, and his first rifle, all symbolizing the things Keane loves most.
Each rifle bears a unique serial number, ranging from TEAMKEANE01 through TEAMKEANE50, making it a truly one-of-a-kind collector’s item.
All proceeds from the sale of these rifles go directly to the Rhodes family to assist with Keane’s medical expenses.
