The newly released series from Henry Repeating Arms includes the Big Boy X Model (top), the Lever Action X Model .45-70 (middle), and the Lever Action Shotgun X Model .410 (bottom). MSRP is $970.
BAYONNE, NJ – January 21, 2020 – Henry is introducing a highly anticipated new product line today with the X Model series, a concept that was first teased at the 2018 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Dallas, TX. All the firearms included in this new product launch are designed from the ground up to bring unparalleled versatility and utility to not only Henry’s line of rifles and shotguns, but the lever action platform in general. All five models are now available nationwide from licensed firearms dealers with an MSRP across the board of $970.00.
Anthony Imperato, President and owner of Henry Repeating Arms says, “The sheer volume of positive feedback we received about the concept guns we brought to Dallas was incredible, and this type of strong feedback is what tends to drive our product development plans.” Imperato continues, “It’s exciting to kick off the year with such a highly requested line of firearms and finally make these guns a reality.”
The X Model series consists of the Big Boy platform, chambered in .44 Mag/.44 Spl, .357 Mag./.38 Spl, and .45 Colt, a lever action .410 shotgun, and another rifle chambered in .45-70 Government. All five models sport durable and lightweight synthetic furniture with a solid rubber recoil pad on the pistol-gripped buttstock, Picatinny and M-Lok accessory slots on the forestock, and integrated sling swivel studs. The matte blued steel receivers utilize a side loading gate to keep the removable tube magazine loaded and they are all drilled and tapped to accept an optics mount. The rifles are all threaded at the muzzle end with a 5/8×24 thread pitch to accommodate a suppressor or other muzzle device. The shotgun’s smooth bore barrel is threaded internally for a removable invector style choke and contrasting fiber optic sights adorn all of the X Models with the .410 shotgun variation using only a front sight.

The Henry Lever Action Axe .410 features a unique “axe handle” grip and an overall length of 26.4-inches, which classifies it as a non-NFA firearm. The MSRP is $970.
RICE LAKE, WI – December 19, 2019 – Henry, the leading lever action firearms manufacturer, introduced today a unique addition to their product line with the announcement of the Lever Action Axe .410, a non-NFA lever action firearm featuring a side loading gate and a signature “axe handle” grip. Now available at licensed firearms dealers nationwide, this new firearm is not regulated under the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ National Firearms Act and will not require a tax stamp to purchase.
Anthony Imperato, President and owner of Henry Repeating Arms explains, “Our Mare’s Leg lever action pistols have been a popular choice among shooting sports enthusiasts for many years now, mainly because they’re so fun to shoot and the fact that they look like they came right out of a Western movie.” Imperato continues, “The Axe shares a similar form factor to our Mare’s Leg with some added features for more versatility.”

Details of the Henry Lever Action Axe .410 include an engraving of Henry’s logo on the bottom of the genuine American walnut grip, a side loading gate, a brass bead front sight, and a threaded barrel for invector chokes.
The Lever Action Axe .410 stresses the importance of a unique firearm that’s fun to use in a recreational setting, but it’s feature set also lends it utility. With a barrel length of just under 16-inches and an overall length of just over 26-inches the Axe can be stored in far more places than an average long gun. This compact stature opens the possibilities of where the Axe can be stored and used. The magazine, which holds 5 rounds of 2 ½” .410 shells can be continuously topped off through the side loading gate without needing to remove a tube magazine until the firearm needs to be unloaded. The round blued steel barrel is topped with a polished brass bead front sight and threaded for invector style chokes. A removable full choke is included out of the box. The bottom of the genuine American walnut “axe handle” grip is engraved on the bottom with Henry Repeating Arms’ cowboy logo.
The new Lever Action Axe .410 (model H018AH-410) has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $970. More Information »

Henry recently unveiled their Texas Tribute Edition rifle with a surprise appearance at the Texas Motor Speedway, where it was presented to NASCAR Cup Series driver Kevin Harvick for his pole qualifying win before the AAA Texas 500. Now available nationwide, the new rifle is the latest addition to Henry’s diverse Tribute Edition product line and the only edition dedicated to a specific state.
Anthony Imperato, President, and Owner of Henry Repeating Arms, explains, “The idea of making a special gun for Texas is something that we’ve been working at for quite some time, and we have looked at so many different designs in the process.” Imperato continues, “Texas loves guns, and we wanted to make sure that this rifle captures that unique Texas magic with a look that no one has ever seen before on a Henry. I think we nailed it.”

NASCAR Cup Series driver, Kevin Harvick was awarded with a Henry Texas Tribute Edition rifle for his pole qualifying win at Texas Motor Speedway on November 2, 2019.
The Henry Texas Tribute Edition is a .22 S/L/LR caliber lever action rifle built on Henry’s Golden Boy platform, which features a 20” blued steel octagon barrel, a Brasslite receiver cover, a brass buttplate and barrel band, and fully adjustable sights. Most notably, the wood furniture is finished with a deep black stain to provide a stark contrast to the gold highlights throughout the gun. Both sides of the rifle are studded with inlaid metal 5-pointed stars, with 4 on the right side of the buttstock, and a lone star on the right side of the buttstock. The forestock is further embellished with the word “TEXAS” engraved in a classic Western typeface and filled by hand with gold paint. The buttstock engraving depicts the state of Texas filled with a “Lone Star Flag” motif, which is also hand-painted in gold.
The new Texas Tribute Edition rifle has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $960. For more information, visit https://www.henryusa.com/firearm/texas-tribute-edition/.

The Henry Side Gate Lever Action is now available in a .45-70 Gov’t rifle configuration and a .410 bore shotgun configuration.
BAYONNE, NJ – November 1, 2019 – The introduction of the Henry Side Gate Lever Action Rifle earlier this year laid the groundwork for an entirely new category in Henry Repeating Arms’ already sprawling product lineup, and that category is expanding further with the release of Henry’s new Side Gate Lever Action Rifle in .45-70 Gov’t and Side Gate Lever Action .410 Shotgun.
Cosmetically and functionally the new Side Gate Lever Actions share much with the earlier models. The firearm’s namesake, the loading gate on the right side of the receiver below the ejection port, is coupled with Henry’s historically inspired removable tube magazine. Having these two methods of loading and unloading allows the shooter to safely unload the firearm without working live rounds through the action and keep the magazine topped off through the side gate.
“We put a lot of focus into listening to what our fans and customers want from the next Henry,” says Henry Repeating Arms President and Owner, Anthony Imperato. He continues, “Real feedback and product suggestions from people that are out there using our rifles and shotguns carries a lot of weight and it’s what drives a lot of our product development. Our release of the Side Gate Lever Action earlier this year, and these new calibers are a great example of that.”

The new rifle and shotgun feature checkered American Walnut furniture and the unique combination of both a side loading gate and a removable tube magazine.
Henry Repeating Arms recently added a section to their website titled “The Suggestion Box” that allows users to submit their firearm idea or concept for Henry to consider in the future.
Andy Wickstrom, Vice President and General Manager of Henry Repeating Arms explains, “As soon as we came out with the first round of Side Gate Lever Actions we started getting requests for additional calibers. Both .410 and .45-70 were way up there, so it’s great that we can satisfy those that requested it now.”
The new Side Gate Lever Action .45-70 rifle and Side Gate Lever Action .410 share a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $1,045.

The Henry Big Boy All-Weather won ‘The Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin’ contest with a total of 30,000 votes cast in the final round. The rifle is manufactured in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.
Henry and their Big Boy All-Weather lever action rifle won the ‘Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin’ competition organized by the Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) from a contestant pool of over 150 different products and companies. The Big Boy All-Weather, which is manufactured in Henry’s Rice Lake, Wisconsin facility, was nominated earlier this year in August and then went all the way through 4 rounds of popular votes. Over 30,000 votes were cast in the last round. The rifle, available in .44 Magnum, .357 Magnum and .45 Colt, is a popular choice for hunters that need a firearm that is less susceptible to harsh environmental conditions.
“It is incredible to see the diversity of products manufactured here in this state, and we are proud to call Wisconsin home.” said Dan Clayton-Luce, Communications Director of Henry Repeating Arms during Henry’s acceptance speech. Clayton-Luce continues, “We would like to thank all of the more than 500 Henry employees from both our Rice Lake, WI facility and Bayonne, NJ facility for being so dedicated to putting out a quality product every day.”
Henry’s 100,000+ sq. ft. Wisconsin manufacturing facility, managed by Henry Vice President and General Manager Andy Wickstrom, is responsible for about half of Henry’s entire product line, which encompasses over 200 different rifle and shotguns.
“This is a very exciting win for us,” says Henry Repeating Arms President and Owner, Anthony Imperato. “We take so much pride in Made in America and it’s clear that our fans and customers appreciate it just as much as we do. I would like to thank everyone who took the time to vote for us.”

Henry is resurrecting a firearm that has not been produced by another major manufacturer since 2002 with the release of their new Henry Garden Gun Smoothbore .22. Built on Henry’s Classic Lever Action .22 platform, which ticked over the 1,000,000 units sold mark in late 2017, this .22 caliber shotgun is purpose built for close-range pest control using .22 LR shotshell cartridges.
“This may be a niche product, but it fills that niche particularly well,” says Henry Repeating Arms president and owner, Anthony Imperato. He continues, “For the farmer or the gardener, it’s something convenient to keep closet close at-hand to dispatch pests without using a level of firepower that could cause even more property damage than the pests themselves.”
The use of .22 LR shotshells are favored for tight quarters or enclosed spaces due to their quieter report, negligible potential for harmful ricochet, and an impact that is unlikely to penetrate walls and roofs.
The 18.5″ round blued steel barrel of the Henry Garden Gun is void of any rifling to keep a tighter shot pattern when compared to shooting the same cartridge from a rifled barrel, which extends the effective range. The firearm also features a 15-round tubular magazine and ash wood furniture finished with a black stain to differentiate it from the otherwise very similar Henry Classic Lever Action .22.

Henry and Baron Engraving of Trumbull, CT have partnered on a one-of-one hand-engraved New Original Henry Rifle which is being auctioned off to benefit the newly renovated Cody Firearms Museum, boasting the most comprehensive collection of firearms in the United States.
Baron’s master engraver, Rob Bunting, embellished the rifle using a design inspired by a Samuel Hoggson factory-engraved 1860’s era Henry rifle found in the collections of the Cody Firearms Museum. The full coverage engraving features Hoggson’s signature large grape leaf motif, a classic buck scene, and leafy scroll cuts. The serial number denotes the rifle’s unique and collectible status, 01CFM2019.
Anthony Imperato, President of Henry Repeating Arms, says, “The Cody Firearms Museum is a must-visit for anyone interested in firearms or American history. It’s truly an extraordinary collection, and we’re very proud that we’re able to be a part of the Grand Re-opening.” Imperato continues, “Firearms play such an integral role in our nation’s history, so we had to jump at the opportunity to ensure that this collection stays around for more generations to enjoy.”
The New Henry Original Rifle is a line-by-line reproduction of the first lever action rifle ever put into production, which was patented by Benjamin Tyler Henry in 1860, except for concessions needed to utilize a caliber other than the now extinct .44 Henry Rimfire. It features a brass receiver and crescent buttplate, extra-fancy American Walnut furniture, and a polished blued steel octagonal barrel.

The rifle is a featured auction item on Gunbroker.com, item #816952721. Online bidding will close during the Grand Re-opening ceremonies at the Cody Firearms Museum on July 6, 2019.
To complement this one-of-a-kind rifle, a unique collector’s series is also being offered to benefit the Cody Firearms Museum. The first offering of the series is a unique rifle built on Henry’s award-winning Golden Boy, engraved by Baron Engraving. These rifles are available to retailers exclusively through Davidson’s of Prescott, AZ and are available to the public at Davidson’s Gallery of Guns.
Together, Henry Repeating Arms, Baron Engraving and Davidson’s are expected to raise more than $100,000 to support the revitalization of the Cody Firearms Museum.
Henry firearms can only be purchased through a licensed firearms dealer. For more information about Henry Repeating Arms and its products visit henryusa.com or call 866-200-2354.

Henry unveiled the latest addition to its lineup of American made firearms to the public today during the opening day of the NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Indianapolis, IN. The introduction of the Henry Side Gate Lever Action rifle marks the very first time the company has offered a lever action rifle with a loading gate. The rifle can also be loaded through a removable magazine tube, making it a unique proposition in lever action offerings.
The side loading gate below the ejection port allows the user to fully load the rifle’s 5-round magazine or keep it topped off without removing the magazine tube. The rifle’s removable magazine tube provides another method of loading the rifle and a safe, efficient way of unloading the rifle without having to work the action to cycle live rounds through the action.

The loading gate below the ejection port allows for easy magazine top-offs while the removable tube magazine makes for easy unloading. The receiver is made of solid hardened brass.
The new Henry Side Gate is offered in calibers 30-30, 38-55 and 35 Rem. The receiver of the rifle utilizes Henry’s signature hardened brass, which has the same tensile and yield strength as steel, and comes drilled and tapped to accept a scope base. The American walnut stock is laser engraved with deep checkering and scrollwork, with the forearm inset with the “HENRY” name. The round 20-inch blued steel barrel uses rifling with varying twist rates depending on the caliber and features a fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight and an ivory bead front sight. There are no external safety features on the Side Gate Lever Action rifle. A patented in-hammer sliding transfer bar safety guarantees the rifle will not fire unless the hammer is cocked and the trigger is pulled. The manufacturers suggested retail price is $1,045.
“The advent of the new Henry Side Gate solidifies Henry Repeating Arms as the first name in lever actions. For those who have been patiently waiting on a Henry with a loading gate, we have delivered – and then some,” says Henry President and owner Anthony Imperato.
The Vice President and General Manager of Henry Repeating Arms, Andy Wickstrom continues, “It is no accident that our modern lever action rifles take inspiration from the legendary 1860’s era Henry rifle that started it all. Today’s Henry firearms retain classic looks but take advantage of state-of-the-art technology to build reliable, accurate and modern lever actions that are second-to-none. However, there has always been a segment of the market that prefers a loading gate. With the dual loading options, it’s the best of both worlds.”
