Henry Expands Capacity with New Wisconsin Facility

Ladysmith Expansion

RICE LAKE, Wis. (October 19, 2021)

To accommodate the strong demand for a growing product lineup, Henry is expanding its operations with an 84,000sf building on 13.5 acres in Ladysmith, Wisconsin. Strategically located less than an hour away from the company’s 140,000sf headquarters in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, the new facility will employ over 100 people in the Rusk County area within three years.

The new property gives the company a total of 350,000sf of manufacturing space with over 600 employees to support its “Made in America, Or Not Made at All” mantra. The facility will initially be machining parts for the company’s lineup of more than 200 models of rifles and shotguns. The additional Ladysmith acreage also allows for future expansion.

“Staking our flag at a new facility is the beginning of another exciting chapter in our company’s history, and we are wasting no time prepping the building for our machines,” said Andy Wickstrom, President of Henry Repeating Arms. Wickstrom continued, “We thank the state of Wisconsin and Rusk County officials for keeping the door open for us, and we look forward to adding members of another great Wisconsin community to our family.”

“We’re excited to see Henry Repeating Arms make a commitment to Ladysmith, WI and Rusk County. They are an employer we are eager to see grow in our community for years to come,” added Andy Albarado, Rusk County Economic Development.

Built on Henry’s award-winning Golden Boy platform, the rifles are chambered in .22 S/L/LR and feature a Brasslite receiver cover, blued steel octagon barrel, and genuine American walnut furniture with laser engraving and hand painted accents that include a green muscular dystrophy awareness ribbon. The embellishment work for every rifle is a donation from Baron Engraving of Trumbull, Connecticut. Henry 180

RICE LAKE, WI – May 5, 2021

A day before the fireworks shows of July 4th, the Henry 180 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Road America will treat fans to an equally impressive performance on the track. Wisconsin-based firearm manufacturer and title sponsor of the race, Henry Repeating Arms, is celebrating by inviting 180 active-duty members or veterans of the United States military to attend the race with free general admission.

Chase Briscoe drove the #98 Ford Mustang through wet conditions to a 9th place finish at the 2020 Henry 180 NASCAR Xfinity Series Race.

Henry Repeating Arms has a long history of supporting the military and its veterans with recent donations to The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) totaling over $100,000, a $200,000 donation to The Charlie Daniels Journey Home Project, and tribute edition rifle presentations to veterans around the country including World War II hero, Louis Zamperini, and several Congressional Medal of Honor recipients.

RICE LAKE, WI – March 9, 2021

This year marks the 150th anniversary of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, the largest sheriff’s office in the state of Arizona. To celebrate their historic milestone, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Advisory Council selected Henry Repeating Arms to create a limited edition run of custom engraved Big Boy rifles chambered in .45 Colt through Henry’s custom law enforcement program.

Maricopa County Sheriff's Office 150th Anniversary

Serial number 1 of the first 150 rifles is being presented at the Barrett Jackson Auction later this month, which has sold for $20,000. Proceeds from this limited production rifle will support the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Memorial Fund. If you would like to learn more about the rifle or place an order, please go to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Advisory Council website at: https://mcsomemorialfund.com/

From the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office:

The artwork on the right-side stock of the rifle represents the historical past, the proud present day, and the progressive future of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. From the 1870’s to present day, sheriffs and their deputies utilized horses for transportation and patrol. The deputy and his horse are seen in the foreground of the Four Peaks Wilderness. Wearing the timeless Stetson cowboy hat and holding his trusty Henry rifle, the rider looks up to the modern future…the Bell 429 twin engine rescue helicopter. With the most advanced avionics and rescue capabilities, it represents the forward thinking of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. This helicopter will be put into service in 2021.

Engraved on the right side of the rifle’s receiver is the current badge of the office. The individual number of each rifle will also be engraved on this side. The right side of the foregrip proudly displays the years of service with “1871-MCSO-2021” in bold lettering.

Maricopa County Sheriff's Office 150th Anniversary

The artwork on each side of the receiver is outlined by a chain. This represents the largest portion of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office staff: the men and women that work as Detention Officers in the Maricopa County Detention Facilities.

On the left side of the rifle, the stock shows the current office patch with banners overlayed showing the years of dedication and service to the community. The Arizona flag is in the background, and a rose, which is the insignia of the MCSO Memorial Fund, which honors fallen officers within the state and raises funds for their families, is displayed at the front of the stock.

Maricopa County Sheriff's Office 150th Anniversary

Engraved on the left side of the receiver is the original badge design, along with a heart bearing a “911” banner.  The 911 banner represents the true first responders…the dispatchers and call takers in the Communications Division who answer the tens of thousands of calls for assistance each year from the citizens of Maricopa County. The heart design recognizes the “heart” of the office, the many civilians who work in the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. Recognizing the civilian employees working as Administrative Assistants at a district or division, or in the volunteer Posse, in the Records and AFIS Division, Human Resources Bureau, Property Management, SIMS, Scientific Analysis, Criminal Intel, Personnel, Legal Liaison, Backgrounds and Polygraph, Technology Management Bureau, and many more.

On the left foregrip we see what each of us has signed up to do every day and every night: “To Protect and Serve”.

RICE LAKE, WI – January 22, 2021

As part of an ongoing effort to give customers more options when choosing to “Hunt With A Henry,” Henry Repeating Arms is pleased to announce four new models that fit the needs of modern hunters, whether in pursuit of small game or large, feather or fur.

Lever Action Magnum Express .22 Magnum

The Henry Lever Action Magnum Express .22 Mag is built for use with optics for small game and varmint hunting. MSRP $622

The Lever Action Magnum Express .22 Magnum (H001ME) is a purpose-built small game and varmint hunting rifle with a feature set catered towards use with magnified optics. This rifle is void of any iron sights, so the receiver cover is topped with a Picatinny scope base to accept a wide variety of scope rings. Because a scope sits up higher on the rifle than barrel-mounted iron sights, the buttstock is shaped with a Monte Carlo style for a higher cheek weld and more natural shooting position.  A rubber recoil pad is added for additional stability. The Lever Action Magnum Express .22 Magnum has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $622.

The Henry Lever Action X Model .30-30 brings a legendary whitetail hunting caliber to Henry’s modern X Model lineup. MSRP $1,019

By popular demand, the Lever Action X Model .30-30 (H009X) is the newest entry in Henry’s X Model line of modern, feature-packed lever actions first introduced in January 2020. Most notably, this new model features full synthetic furniture with integrated sling swivel studs, Picatinny and M-Lok accessory slots, and an industry-standard 5/8×24 threaded barrel to accept a suppressor or other muzzle device. The rifle is topped with fiber optic sights, and the blued steel receiver is drilled and tapped for optional scope use. The Lever Action X Model .30-30 has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $1,019.

All-Weather Picatinny Rail .45-70 Side Gate

Borrowing elements from Jeff Cooper’s scout rifle concept, the All-Weather Picatinny Rail .45-70 Side Gate (H010GAWP) is topped with an extended section of Picatinny rail for mounting a scope further forward on the barrel to free up more peripheral vision and make for quicker target acquisition. The rail also includes a peep sight that is fully adjustable for windage and elevation. Henry’s All-Weather finish consists of a satin hard chrome plating on most metal surfaces and specially treated hardwood stocks for temperature and moisture resilience. The All-Weather Picatinny Rail .45-70 Side Gate rifle has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $1,221.

Single Shot Turkey Camo Shotgun

The Henry Single Shot Turkey Camo Shotgun is fully covered in Mossy Oak Obsession camouflage and features fiber optic sights and a removable turkey choke. $687

For the dedicated turkey hunter, Henry is now offering the 12-gauge Single Shot Turkey Camo Shotgun (H015T-12) fully decked out in Mossy Oak Obsession camouflage. In addition to the full-coverage camouflage, this shotgun comes with a removable turkey choke to extend the effective range, fiber optic sights, and a drilled and tapped barrel for optional optics mounting. To help mitigate some of the recoil associated with firing 3 ½” 12-gauge shells from a lightweight single shot platform, the pistol gripped buttstock is capped with a soft rubber recoil pad. The Single Shot Turkey Camo 12 Gauge Shotgun has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $687.

Anthony Imperato“I can’t recall a more aggressive time of growth as far as the number of new releases and the frequency by which we release them is concerned,” states Henry Repeating Arms President and Owner Anthony Imperato. “We are very proud to present hunters with an ever-increasing number of American-made choices when they go to purchase a rifle or shotgun for an upcoming season, and we’re just getting started for this year.”

Henry 180

RICE LAKE, WI – January 12, 2021

Henry is proud to announce a continuation of their title sponsorship for the NASCAR Xfinity Series race held at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. This year’s Henry 180 will see the green flag wave on July 3rd, followed by a NASCAR Cup Series race at the same track on July 4th. NBC will be televising the Henry 180 live at 1:30 PM (CT).

At both ends of a lengthy lightning delay, last year’s event offered plenty of edge-of-your-seat racing with wet conditions that made the notoriously difficult road course even trickier for the budding stock car drivers. The Henry Repeating Arms #98 Ford Mustang, driven by Chase Briscoe, finished running in 3rd position. Drivers will be aiming for unique trophies for the 2021 race, with both the pole qualifying and race winners set to receive custom-built Henry 180 edition lever-action rifles.

Chase Briscoe drove the #98 Ford Mustang through wet conditions to a 9th place finish at the 2020 Henry 180 NASCAR Xfinity Series Race.

“Returning to our home track in Wisconsin is something that we are very much looking forward to, and this year will be even more special since the races take place during the July 4th weekend,” says Henry Repeating Arms President and owner, Anthony Imperato. “It’s going to be a fun, patriotic weekend, and we can’t wait to see our fans and make some new ones at the track.”

“We’re thrilled to welcome our friends at Henry Repeating Arms back for what is assuredly going to be another great race this year,” said Road America President and General Manager, Mike Kertscher. “We couldn’t ask for a better partner to share July 4th weekend with, and we look forward to bringing all of the excitement of a NASCAR doubleheader to our fans.”

Full fan attendance is anticipated for the race, and tickets are now available by visiting www.roadamerica.com or by calling 800-365-7223. Anyone 16-years-old and under is FREE with a paying adult at the gate. The Henry 180 will take place rain or shine.

New Side Gates

32 new models including side loading gate versions of their All-Weather, Color Case Hardened, and Blued Steel rifles and shotguns.

Henry is announcing a large transition in their product catalog with upgrades for their Wisconsin-made lever-action rifles and shotguns and new calibers and configurations for their H015 Single Shot firearms. In total, the announcement is replacing 29 “legacy” models in favor of newly upgraded versions and adding 3 new Single Shots to the Henry lineup.

By popular demand, Henry Repeating Arms is replacing all steel-framed centerfire lever-action rifles and shotguns to include a side loading gate while still retaining the removable tube magazine based on the original Henry rifle patented in 1860. This open-ended magazine design, first introduced with the Henry H024 Side Gate Lever Action in 2019, provides owners with the ability to conveniently load the magazine and keep it topped off through a port in the receiver and safely unload the magazine by twisting out the inner magazine tube. The transition applies to all of Henry’s .30-30 and .45-70 rifles, .410 bore shotguns, and revolver caliber Big Boy rifles in their blued steel, All-Weather, and Color Case Hardened finishes that do not already include a side loading gate.

“Ever since our fans and customers got a taste of a side loading Henry, the requests started rolling in immediately to include this feature on their favorite finish or caliber. These new models are going to make a lot of people very happy, and we are always going to have options for fans of our legacy configuration as well,” states Anthony Imperato, president and owner of Henry Repeating Arms. Imperato continues, “The removable tube magazine is a core part of our product DNA, so that’s not going anywhere, and fans of the classic brass and octagon barrel configurations will always be able to get that from us.”

Henry Side Gate Single Shot

In addition to the new Side Gate models, Henry is announcing 2 new calibers for the H015 Single Shot Rifle with .350 Legend and .450 Bushmaster. For large game hunters in shotgun-only areas, Henry is also releasing the Henry Single Shot Slug Barrel Shotgun in 12 gauge, which features a fully rifled barrel for use with shotgun slugs and fiber optic sights.
