Henry 180

RICE LAKE, WI – January 12, 2021

Henry is proud to announce a continuation of their title sponsorship for the NASCAR Xfinity Series race held at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. This year’s Henry 180 will see the green flag wave on July 3rd, followed by a NASCAR Cup Series race at the same track on July 4th. NBC will be televising the Henry 180 live at 1:30 PM (CT).

At both ends of a lengthy lightning delay, last year’s event offered plenty of edge-of-your-seat racing with wet conditions that made the notoriously difficult road course even trickier for the budding stock car drivers. The Henry Repeating Arms #98 Ford Mustang, driven by Chase Briscoe, finished running in 3rd position. Drivers will be aiming for unique trophies for the 2021 race, with both the pole qualifying and race winners set to receive custom-built Henry 180 edition lever-action rifles.

Chase Briscoe drove the #98 Ford Mustang through wet conditions to a 9th place finish at the 2020 Henry 180 NASCAR Xfinity Series Race.

“Returning to our home track in Wisconsin is something that we are very much looking forward to, and this year will be even more special since the races take place during the July 4th weekend,” says Henry Repeating Arms President and owner, Anthony Imperato. “It’s going to be a fun, patriotic weekend, and we can’t wait to see our fans and make some new ones at the track.”

“We’re thrilled to welcome our friends at Henry Repeating Arms back for what is assuredly going to be another great race this year,” said Road America President and General Manager, Mike Kertscher. “We couldn’t ask for a better partner to share July 4th weekend with, and we look forward to bringing all of the excitement of a NASCAR doubleheader to our fans.”

Full fan attendance is anticipated for the race, and tickets are now available by visiting www.roadamerica.com or by calling 800-365-7223. Anyone 16-years-old and under is FREE with a paying adult at the gate. The Henry 180 will take place rain or shine.

Collection of Henry lever-action rifles and shotguns in various finishes and calibers

32 new models including side loading gate versions of their All-Weather, Color Case Hardened, and Blued Steel rifles and shotguns.

Henry is announcing a large transition in their product catalog with upgrades for their Wisconsin-made lever-action rifles and shotguns and new calibers and configurations for their H015 Single Shot firearms. In total, the announcement is replacing 29 “legacy” models in favor of newly upgraded versions and adding 3 new Single Shots to the Henry lineup.

By popular demand, Henry Repeating Arms is replacing all steel-framed centerfire lever-action rifles and shotguns to include a side loading gate while still retaining the removable tube magazine based on the original Henry rifle patented in 1860. This open-ended magazine design, first introduced with the Henry H024 Side Gate Lever Action in 2019, provides owners with the ability to conveniently load the magazine and keep it topped off through a port in the receiver and safely unload the magazine by twisting out the inner magazine tube. The transition applies to all of Henry’s .30-30 and .45-70 rifles, .410 bore shotguns, and revolver caliber Big Boy rifles in their blued steel, All-Weather, and Color Case Hardened finishes that do not already include a side loading gate.

“Ever since our fans and customers got a taste of a side loading Henry, the requests started rolling in immediately to include this feature on their favorite finish or caliber. These new models are going to make a lot of people very happy, and we are always going to have options for fans of our legacy configuration as well,” states Anthony Imperato, president and owner of Henry Repeating Arms. Imperato continues, “The removable tube magazine is a core part of our product DNA, so that’s not going anywhere, and fans of the classic brass and octagon barrel configurations will always be able to get that from us.”

Henry Side Gate Single Shot

In addition to the new Side Gate models, Henry is announcing 2 new calibers for the H015 Single Shot Rifle with .350 Legend and .450 Bushmaster. For large game hunters in shotgun-only areas, Henry is also releasing the Henry Single Shot Slug Barrel Shotgun in 12 gauge, which features a fully rifled barrel for use with shotgun slugs and fiber optic sights.

The New Original B. T. Henry 200th Anniversary Edition

The New Original B.T. Henry 200th Anniversary Edition is limited to only 200 units worldwide, the most exclusive in the series to date.

Henry is commemorating Benjamin Tyler Henry’s 200th birthday with a limited-edition release of the toggle-link lever action design he patented in 1860. Born in 1821, Benjamin Tyler Henry would become one of the most influential names in American firearms design history with his invention of the 1860 Henry rifle, the first reliable lever action repeating rifle. The New Original B.T. Henry 200th Anniversary Edition rifle is limited to only 200 units worldwide, making it the rarest New Original Henry the company has ever released.

The right side of the receiver features an engraved portrait of Benjamin Tyler Henry, the inventor of the first successful lever action rifle design.

This limited-edition model is a line-for-line reproduction of B.T. Henry’s 1860 design with consolations only being made to accommodate the more modern .44-40 WCF cartridge. The hardened brass receiver features full coverage leafy vine scrollwork engraving surrounding a portrait of the inventor on the right side and a testament to the rifle’s rarity on the reverse side with the words, “One of 200.” The buttstock is made from highly figured presentation-grade American walnut and is capped with a crescent shaped brass buttplate, which includes a period-correct door for the internal cleaning accessory compartment. The 24.5” polished blued steel octagon barrel is topped with a folding ladder rear sight and blade front sight. Each rifle in the series bears a unique serial number ranging from 001BTH200 to 200BTH200.

The left side of the receiver features the 200th anniversary milestone years (1821, 2021) and a testament to the rifle’s rarity with the words, “One of 200.”

Anthony Imperato, President and owner of Henry Repeating Arms says, “The lever action rifle is one of America’s unique contributions to international firearms design, and we take a great deal of pride in carrying on Benjamin Tyler Henry’s legacy by making lever action rifles and shotguns for the modern day on American soil.” Imperato continues, “We are excited to release this rifle in honor of his 200th birthday, and we can’t wait to see them start showing up in the hands of our collectors.”

The New Original B.T. Henry 200th Anniversary Edition (model H011BTH) has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $4,286.

Henry has donated a series of 65 custom rifles that raised a total of $47,040 to benefit the family of 3-year-old Preslie Mantsch from Iron River, Michigan. All proceeds from the sales and auctions of the rifles are being presented to the Mantsch family to assist with the medical expenses associated with childhood leukemia.

The “Prayers For Preslie” Edition Golden Boy Silver rifles were created under Henry Repeating Arms’ Guns For Great Causes banner, a charitable branch of the company that focuses on raising money through firearm donations for individual sick children, children’s hospitals, veterans’ organizations, shooting sports preservation, and wildlife conservation efforts. So far this year, the company has raised over $175,000 for individual families of sick children and presented Shriners International with a $52,500 check to assist with their philanthropic efforts with the renowned Shriners Children’s Hospitals.

The rifles, which sold for $620 each, sold out within a matter of hours after Henry’s initial announcement. The first and last serial numbers in the series were put up for auction and pulled in an additional $6,525 and $2,075, respectively.

Anthony Imperato, President and Owner of Henry Repeating Arms says, “With Preslie’s father being a frontline medical worker in their community’s fire and ambulance departments, I just can’t imagine the struggle this family has been through so far this year.” Imperato continues, “I want to personally thank everyone who chose to support this family with the purchase of a rifle, and I look forward to seeing little Preslie conquer her road to remission. We’re all rooting for her.”

Two Henry lever-action rifles, showcasing the H015 Single Shot models

Henry announced that it is voluntarily recalling all H015-series Single Shot Rifles and Single Shot Shotguns manufactured prior to July 1, 2020.  Henry has recently discovered a potential safety issue wherein, under certain conditions, it is possible that some of these models may discharge without the trigger being pulled if the hammer is partially cocked and released. To prevent the possibility of death or serious personal injury, you should immediately stop using all H015-series Single Shot Rifles and Single Shot Shotguns and not load or fire them until they have been upgraded.

The safety issue leading to this voluntary recall was discovered internally while testing the existing fire control system for a trigger pull upgrade.  This is the first product safety recall in the company’s nearly 25-year history.  Although not every Henry H015-series firearm may be affected, Henry Repeating Arms is requesting that all Single Shot Rifles and Single Shot Shotguns be returned to be upgraded free of charge pursuant to this recall to prevent the possibility of the firearm discharging without the trigger being pulled.  All H015 owners should visit the Henry H015 Recall website at HenryUSA.com/recall, email [email protected], or call 1-866-200-2354 (M-F, 9AM ET-5PM ET) to obtain additional information and begin the upgrade process.

Henry Repeating Arms will upgrade all returned Single Shot Rifles and Single Shot Shotguns in the order in which they are received.  Henry Repeating Arms is ready to begin performing the upgrade as the firearms are received.  Information on the current turnaround time for firearms returned to be upgraded will be provided at HenryUSA.com/recall.  Henry Repeating Arms will make every effort to minimize the amount of time required to upgrade and return your firearm.  As a sign of appreciation to its customers, Henry Repeating Arms will also perform an unrelated performance upgrade to improve the trigger pull on all firearms returned pursuant to this recall free of charge.

A Henry Guns For Great Causes Benefit

Smiling young boy in outdoor portrait

Henry President and Owner, Anthony Imperato, first learned of little Ethan Shaw, a 2-year-old boy from Pleasant View, TN from our good friend and host of Henry TV, 22Plinkster. Ethan was undergoing a fierce battle with ETMR, one of the most aggressive forms of brain tumors encountered in children. Immediately, Imperato committed to manufacture and donate 88 Henry “Ethan’s Army” Edition Golden Boy rifles with all proceeds benefiting the Shaw family to aid with the associated medical expenses.

With the production of the rifles well underway, on June 11, 2020, the worst possible news was received. Ethan Shaw, despite a battle for the ages, had succumbed to his illness.

Shaw Family

Ethan was the youngest child in a family of 9 children and passed with a veritable army of love and support behind him. As part of “Guns For Great Causes,” Henry Repeating Arms offers these limited edition rifles in honor of Ethan’s life and to show Ethan and his family that he had a great many more in the Henry family standing right beside him through his struggle. Lever-action Henry Repeating Arms rifle with custom Ethan's Army engraving

The “Ethan’s Army” edition rifle, chambered in .22 S/L/LR, is built on the world-famous Henry Golden Boy platform with a gleaming Brasslite receiver cover, barrel band, and brass buttplate. Ethan’s profile is hand-painted with a Tennessee flag motif, his home state. Baron Engraving of Trumbull, CT, donated all of the engraving and design work for the “Ethan’s Army” rifle.

Ethan’s final treatments cost the Shaw family upwards of $17,000 a month for medicine, which was not covered by their insurance company’s plan. From the sale of these rifles, Henry Repeating Arms will be able to present the family with over $50,000.

May Ethan Shaw rest in peace and may the Shaw family find healing through their prayers and ours. We are proud to be a part of Ethan’s Army, and we hope you will join us.

The “Ethan’s Army” Edition rifles are SOLD OUT. All rifles were sold in less than 6 hours. Thank you everyone for your support. This will go a long way to helping the Shaw family.

Henry Rifles- Beckett and Sadie Benefit

The families of 4-year-old Beckett Burge (L) from Princeton, TX and 3-year-old Sadie Kreinbrink of Ostrander, OH (R) are receiving a total of $78,250 from the sales of rifles donated by Henry Repeating Arms.

BAYONNE, NJ – February 5, 2020 – Henry President and Owner, Anthony Imperato, designed and donated 60 rifles for 4-year-old Beckett Burge of Princeton, Texas, and 66 rifles for 3-year-old Sadie Kreinbrink of Ostrander, Ohio to assist with the medical expenses associated with their leukemia treatments. The firearms were sold directly through Henry Repeating Arms’ website and sold out within hours, and serial number 1 of each edition brought in a total of $8,650 at auction on gunbroker.com. The Burge family is receiving $35,525, and the Kreinbrink family is receiving $45,725 from the sale of these rifles.

After a photo of Beckett Burge and his supportive sister went viral, Imperato reached out to offer assistance through Henry’s Guns For Great Causes program, a charitable branch of the company that focuses on helping sick children, children’s hospitals, veterans’ organizations, 2nd Amendment, shooting sports, and wildlife conservation organizations. The “Beat It Like Beckett” edition rifle showcased an engraved and handpainted gold ribbon on the buttstock, the symbol of childhood cancer awareness.

The “Beat It Like Beckett” edition rifle (top) and the “Sweet Sadie” edition rifle (bottom) sold out within hours of going up for sale on Henry Repeating Arms’ website.

A few months after Sadie Kreinbrink was diagnosed with Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma, a malignant childhood tumor requiring 66 weeks of chemotherapy treatment, Sadie’s mother reached out to Henry Repeating Arms, and the “Sweet Sadie” edition rifle was born. The custom Golden Boy Silver Youth rifle displays a bright pink ribbon on the buttstock, which is Sadie’s favorite color.

Baron Engraving of Trumbull, CT, donated their engraving and painting services for both rifles.

Henry President and owner, Anthony Imperato, says, “We are so thrilled with our fans and everyone that chose to support the Kreinbrink and Burge family by purchasing one of these rifles. It’s initiatives like this that have the potential to show the media and the rest of the world how great of an industry our firearms industry is.” He continues, “Firearms manufacturers tend to get a black eye by the media more often than not, so this along with all of our other Guns For Great Causes campaigns should go to show all the good we can do.”
