John Jay Tribute Edition .22 S/L/LR
He put the Supreme Court in motion.
He served as President of the Continental Congress and, alongside Franklin and Adams, negotiated the Treaty of Paris that ended the war and recognized the United States. He wrote several of the Federalist essays with Hamilton and Madison. Washington named him the first Chief Justice of the United States, and Jay gave the new Supreme Court its footing before anyone knew what an independent judiciary would be.
This edition honors him on the Golden Boy Silver, with his portrait in 24kt gold on an engraved, nickel-plated receiver and a stock of Exhibition-grade American walnut, the highest grade Henry uses. Only 250 will be built, one of a series of seven, made in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.
