At its foundation, the H9 is Henry’s steel-framed lever-action chambered in the legendary .30-30 Winchester. For generations, the .30-30 has been the definitive whitetail cartridge, prized for its balance of manageable recoil, dependable terminal performance, and effectiveness in the distances and environments where most deer are taken. The H9 platform preserves the familiar handling, balance, and fast follow-up capability that made the cartridge famous in the first place.

The All-Weather designation sets this rifle apart. A specially treated hardwood stock resists moisture and environmental exposure, while a satin hard chrome finish on most exterior metal surfaces provides exceptional resistance to rust and corrosion. These finishes are permanently bonded to the underlying materials and will not chip, peel, or flake, making the H9 All-Weather Rifle an ideal choice for rain, snow, humidity, and hard use in the field.

A 20-inch round barrel offers excellent maneuverability in dense timber and brush, while still providing practical accuracy at typical deer-hunting distances. The smooth Henry action cycles reliably, and side ejection keeps spent brass clear of optics and safely forward, accommodating both right- and left-handed shooters. A drilled and tapped receiver allows for easy scope mounting, while traditional iron sights remain fast and effective up close.
