I felt better this morning so my son and I made it to the gun show this morning. I did not get a Big Boy .357 Mag but I just could not pass up the Brass Frame Henry Big Boy 44 Mag Carbine. I am still planning on the .357. Will be looking for the .357 at another show next week.
Dad went home to be with the Lord after 86 years, and the last gun he shot was his Henry, he was 85 then, and even at 30 yards he was hitting the target in a 2-3″ pattern (he was a Korean War Vet). You could see the joy he had shooting that day. Dad did not get to shot much living in NJ we felt blessed that he was able to see our home in Virginia and that he had some fun. I have attached a picture of that day. Sorry we took a while to say thank you and your wonderful team, God bless.
Thank you for your consistent, enthusiastic support of our industry and for producing fine quality American made products! Here’s a photo of our long time customer Charlie Farson with his Henry Big Boy Deluxe Engraved. He has been a regular in our store since the late 1960’s and is a big fan of Henry rifles.
Thought you would enjoy this.. they put a float in the Peach Festival in Clarksville, Arkansas to recognize veterans and Henry Repeating Arms.
Just want to start out saying your customer service is outstanding. The main reason for my email is to tell you how extremely satisfied I am with the Henry Rifle I recently purchased. I have always wanted a .45-70 and finally had the money to buy a case colored model, decided on a Henry and can’t wait to add more of your lever guns to my collection. Beautiful works of art, amazing looking wood and super smooth action, wonderful stock to action fit. Everything about the rifle is superb and wanted to thank you for making such a wonderful product.
I wanted to send you a short message say how impressed I am with Henry rifles and a customer service. Recently, I purchased a mini bolt rifle with the muddy girl stock for my granddaughter. Henry was kind enough to put her name and birthdate on the rifle as the serial number; HOPE122512. When I gave her the mini bolt rifle she was really excited and surprised and said “grandpa, it’s BEE-YOU-TEE-FUL!” Needless to say, you made her day and mine. You can bet that when she grows out of this one I’ll be looking for another Henry rifle for her. Many thanx.
The 9th Annual Mississippi Governor’s Hunt was held on March 10 – 11, 2016. The dinner and auction Thursday night was a great success. The Henry Rifle Oil Man Tribute raised $2,250 for the Foundation.
Two of our wonderful donors bought the rifle and donated it. Governor Bryant and the First Lady in honor of their grandson Henry. I have enclosed a picture of the Governor & First Lady along with the two donors who donated the gun, N.J. Correnti & Terry Abby.
Thank you so much for your support of the Governor’s Hunt each year. If I can ever be of any assistance to you, please let me know.
Per your request, I will share with you my cousin Rick’s story as discussed with you at this year’s NRA Henry exhibit.
Rick and I are the same age, and growing up together, we were more like brothers than cousins. He’s a 57 year old, hard-working family man, with a loving wife, a fine son, and a beautiful daughter. I remember, as kids, we used to take care of sassy bandits and desperados with his lever action BB gun. Over the years, we have honed our skills with a lot of 22 target shooting for the friendly competition and fun.
Rick was never one to keep a gun for long, until now. In fact, he had been without one for some time. A year ago or so, Rick purchased a Henry Golden Boy. A beautiful gun in 22 LR that he is so proud to own. He had his initials engraved on it as he was thinking in terms of a family memento to leave to his kids.
Rick has been fighting cancer for a few years now and is on Social Security Disability. After going through chemo treatments last year, he said never again. Lately, a few hours during the afternoon are his best chance of feeling good. Rick had been telling me about the silver version of your Golden Boy, and a couple of weeks ago, he went to Grubb Hardware and Farm Supply and ordered one. I have included the picture of Rick he sent me last week of him proudly displaying his brand new silver Golden Boy.
I was thrilled when you asked me to write this and for Rick’s address. It will mean so much to him to hear from the President of Henry Repeating Arms Company.
Thank you and God Bless!
Mr Imperato, I had recently emailed you about a veterans project we were doing and You and Charlie were kind enough to help us acquire a Henry military service tribute rifle to give away. I wanted to let you know what an extreme honor it was to hand your rifle over to Corporal Adam Patrick Snow of the United States Marine Corp. Corporal Snow served 8 years and during his time he was shot three times and hit by three separate roadside bombs, which his left him with a lifetime of injuries and scars . After each injury he begged to go back to fight with his men for our country. In addition to your rifle, Wyoming Governor Matt Mead wrote a letter to give to Patrick congratulating him on his rifle and reaffirming that Patrick is a true hero.
I could not think of a better way to have honored Corporal Snow in front of 400 people in small town Laramie, WY than with your rifle and the Governors support.
We also auctioned a Henry Golden Boy for $1450 and donated the money to Project Healing Waters local chapter. All said and done, a great night thanks in part to your support.
Thank you, Jeff Wente
The photo you requested. Dad with the .44 mag Big Boy and daughter with the .22LR Golden Boy. Another great trip to the range to enjoy shooting the Henry’s. Both are very accurate at any range. The Big Boy will be my Deer rifle this fall. We really enjoy our Dad and Daughter times at the range shooting the Henry’s.
